WA - Annie Agnes MacDonald was born in Nova Scotia, Canada on October 4, 1926 and left this world on October 23, 2025. She was the daughter of Ronald A. MacDonald and Anna J. McLellan. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Paul, Eugene, Ronald and sisters Evelyn and Mary (Josephine).

Annie Agnes attended St. Anthony School in Renton, Immaculate High School in Seattle, then joined the religious order of the Holy Names, taking the name of Sister Ronald Mary. She graduated from Marylhurst College with a Bachelor of Science degree in education, then finished her fifth year at Fort Wright College, Spokane.

As a teacher, she continued her education at Seattle University, University of Washington and received a Masters degree at Western Washington University. Her teaching career began in Portland, OR then Eugene, OR, Spokane, WA, Everett, WA and ended at St. Josephs School in Seattle, WA.

Annie leaves her sister Patricia Elkan, brother Douglas MacDonald; fifteen nieces, seven nephews and many good friends.
