Washington - Antoinette (Di Sante) Hanes, born June 8, 1924 in Maple Valley, WA, passed away in her home in Renton, WA on May 25, 2022, just 2 weeks shy of her 98th birthday.
Antoinette was preceded in death by her 5 sisters; her husband, Freddie; son, Brian; and great grandchild, Leah. She is survived by her 8 children, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Antoinette loved traveling and sitting in the sun with a good book until her skin was that of fine Corinthian leather. She had mastered the Italian art of wooden spoon discipline at an early age and thus her children were mostly well behaved.....mostly.
A Celebration of Life for Antoinette will be held Saturday, 6/11/2022 at 11am at Yahn & Son Funeral Home (55 W Valley Hwy S, Auburn, WA 98001) followed by reception; and committal at 2 pm at Gethsemane Cemetery.
