Bernice E. Suderman

You left us beautiful memories and will forever be in our hearts.

Bernice passed away in Roseburg OR with family by her side. Bernice was born and raised in Grass Range MT on a homestead with eight siblings. She graduated from Simms High School. Bernice married George Suderman in 1953. They moved to Seattle where they raised their four children.

Bernice's career was with the Boeing Co., where she worked 25 years as lead in BCS. Part of her career with Boeing included time at the Edwards Air Force Base where she worked on the B-2. She and George watched the B-2 inaugural flight in 1989.

Bernice and George retired as snowbirds from AZ. They camp-hosted for a number of years from WA to OR to the Dakotas. Bernice was known for her generosity, quick wit and amazing sense of humor.

Bernice is survived by her four children, Thomas Suderman of WA, his children Johnathan, Hans, Sonya and Anna; Connie and Jack Christensen of OR, their sons Eric, Alec; Gary and Nadynne Suderman of WA, their children Priscilla, Adam, Crystle; and Andrea Strome and her son Christopher both of OR. Bernice is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, and her brother Kenneth Brandt. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband George. Memorial services will be held at the Roseburg OR National Cemetery on NW Garden Valley, Mon., March 24 at 11:00 AM with a gathering directly following at the Holiday Inn Express.

Bernice's favorite charities are the Roseburg Rescue Mission and Meals on Wheels.
