Beth Ann Helsel Obituary

April 22, 1962 - October 18, 2023

Beth passed peacefully at home in Port Angeles, WA with her family at her side, after a fight with breast cancer, which she faced with courage, dignity, and humor, as was her way of life.

Born in Altoona, Pa to Max and Beverly (Smith) Helsel, graduating from Altoona HS in 1980. She moved to the Dallas area as a young adult, working as an Emergency Medical Technician. Later moving to the Seattle area where she started a long career as a healthcare provider analyst with various providers.

Beth's unselfish ways made her excel at helping others leaving a positive impact with all she involved herself with. She enjoyed shopping, and was a lover of dogs, the latest being her beloved labradors Mia and KC. Heaven is indeed a better place now with Beth's arrival.

She is survived by David Forhan (husband), Max and Beverly Helsel (parents), Jeffery Helsel (brother), Mark Helsel (brother), Amanda Helsel (niece), and Anessa Helsel (niece).

A celebration of her life will be on Dec 9th at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Austin, Texas.

Donations can be made in her name to Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County, located in Port Angeles, WA.
