Renton, Washington - Beverly A. (Meldrum) LaFord, 89, of Renton, died January 17th, 2021. Born in Casper, WY November 11th, 1931 to Alex and Grace (Jackson) Meldrum. She was married to Delbert R. LaFord December 22, 1948 in Yakima, WA. They were married 62 years until his death in 2010. She died peacefully at home exactly 43 years to the day that her mother died. Beverly loved reading, bowling, golfing, crocheting, sewing, and making quilts. She was always taking sewing classes to learn new things. She worked as a waitress then cook at her mothers restaurant. She had 4 children: Linda Jacobson (deceased), Bob LaFord, Luanne LaFord-Jones, and Alan LaFord, 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Marilyn Melby and is preceded in death by brothers Richard Meldrum and Michael Abbott. She was the best. We will love you forever, Mom. There will be no services at this time due to Covid-19.
