Costa Rica - The Amazingly True Adventures of Birgit Lenderink ended abruptly on November 3, 2024.

Birgit was a force of nature. Brilliant among a sea of grey, her mind swirled with curiosity and creativity, while her body propelled through life's ups and downs with fiery determination. She used her wit and ingenuity in service of others, never afraid to fight the good fight, demonstrating compassion in action, until her heart finally gave out.

Birgit shared her Buddhist teachings and practice with those around her. Her perspective on life - loving-kindness, attachment and suffering, and the impermanence of it all - helped those around her grow and better navigate the world. She was a true dakini!
