It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the sudden passing of our daughter, Cameron Jean (Couch) Hanson, 52, on December 4, 2023. Born in Bellevue, WA, to John and Lynn Couch, she later graduated from Interlake HS ('90) and the UW ('95). For ten years she owned a successful espresso drive-through, Java Mamas, across from Juanita Beach Park, Kirkland. She also worked for 24 years alongside her Mother in their cosmetic business. Her customers became her friends as they always felt valued by her. She was a loving single Mother to her son, Grayson, who was the center of her life. She adored her dogs: Chloe, Kale, Bella and Sadie. Her home in Kirkland's Kingsgate neighborhood was a gathering place for family and friends. She loved decorating for holidays and gave epic birthday parties for Grayson. She enjoyed camping and fishing, skiing, swimming, growing tomatoes, browsing thrift and antique shops, and vacations to Hawaii, Mexico, Whidbey Island. During the past several years she suffered from CFS, a disease characterized by profound and disabling fatigue. Her quiet faith in God was the foundation of her life. She is survived by her son, Grayson Hanson, Seattle, and her parents, John and Lynn Couch, Kirkland. A ceremony for the interment of her ashes was held on her birthday. God rest your soul, sweetheart. Remembrances to PAWS.org.
