In the last seven years of her life Candace faced many challenges in her physical body but she continue to care for Raj. Candace always said, "The most important position I have ever held is to be a good mother to Raj".

The challenges Candace faced also did not stop Candace from continuing to work to try to help those less fortunate than she. Candace made it her mission to improve the lives of others.
