Washington - With profound love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Carole Ann Crowder-King, born in Nashville, Tennessee in 1946, and raised in Spokane, Washington. Carole spent her adult life in Seattle, Washington. Her calling towards service and excellence, nurturing spirit, and deep compassion led her to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1974, Master of Science in Nursing in 1999 and a 40-year practice in healthcare.
Carole's faith and love of music enriched her life. She was a dedicated member of St. Therese Catholic Church for over 40 years, singing joyfully with the Shades of Praise Choir and many other gospel groups. Her name, meaning "joyful song and free person," perfectly reflected her spirit. Her love of purple and butterflies symbolized her beauty, nobility, and transformative spirit.
Carole Crowder-King, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, healer, singer, and servant of the Lord, is now singing with the angels. Her melody will forever echo in the hearts of those she touched.
A celebration of Carole's life will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church (926 35th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122) on Saturday, April 26th at 1:30 pm, with a reception to follow where all who loved her are welcomed to join in honoring her beautiful spirit.
