Charles Robert Hoff (Charlie) Obituary

Charles Hoff of Federal Way died April 27th after a battle with liver cancer. He was 83 yrs. old. He was born in Bellefonte, PA to Virginia & Robert S. Hoff. He attended Penn State Univ. and taught in Camp Hill, PA and Mt. Kisco. He worked as a flight instructor for Pan American Airlines and Boeing. Summers were spent camping in the Rockies, hiking at Mt. Rainier, and narrowboating in Britain. As School Board Director, Charles was a strong advocate of education for all. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, son Sherman (Lana), and daughter Valerie Eattimo and four grandchildren: Leilani, Malia, Lily and Edison. A Memorial will be held in June, followed by internment at Mt. View Cemetery in Auburn, WA. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and the Federal Way Public Academy in Charles' name.
