Washington - Coran John Bourdeau was born in Chicago, Illinois on 10 September 1950, the second child (and son) of Robert Vincent and Beatrice Luella (Oman) Bourdeau. He was affectionately referred to as Cory by his parents and siblings. His childhood was spent with his family living in Chicago, Helena (Montana), Mercer Island (Washington), Sunnyside and Dragerton (Utah), before coming to an end in Seattle. He graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in 1968. After attending Whitman College for one year, Cory emigrated to Canada and then to Europe. Ultimately, he settled in Seattle and attended North Seattle Community College. He became a draftsman and worked for several truss design and manufacturing companies in the Pacific Northwest. His hobbies included tennis, swimming, woodworking, skiing, and rafting. Though he was a bachelor, he remained close to his family and had a supportive circle of friends. In his later years, he traveled with his older brother throughout the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Beatrice Bourdeau and is survived by his brothers, James Bourdeau and his wife, Teri; Robert Bourdeau and his wife, Tricia; and his sister, Michele Capeloto.
