Washington - Dan passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025 at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, WA.
Born on June 12, 1942 to parents Wendell & Frances Vadell Holms, Dan grew up in Bryn Mawr. He graduated from Renton High School, class of 1960, and owned and operated numerous businesses in the Renton and Seattle areas.
Dan is survived by his wife, Joan Holms; daughter, Abby Gayle Cicirelli; sister, Dianna Cornelius (David), brother David (Barrie); and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd at 1:30 p.m. at Queen Anne United Methodist Church, 1606 5th Avenue West, Seattle, WA 98119.
While Dan was known for wearing black, he loved the colors of summer. In his honor, please feel free to wear bright, summery colors. If you are a member of the Renton Rogues, you might want to wear your Rogues t-shirt. He would love that!
