Washington - Denise (Derrah) Palmer, age 90, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025, in Renton, Washington, after battling Dementia and related issues for over three years.
Denise was born in Wabeno, Wisconsin, to Raymond Derrah and Bernice (Rudolph) Derrah. Her siblings are Raymond Derrah (deceased), Rudolph Derrah, Michael Derrah, Frank Derrah, Patrick Derrah (deceased), Mary Rose Schlegel, and Ann Neely.
She moved to Oregon at a young age with her family and grew up in Albany, Oregon, graduating from Albany High School. She attended Marylhurst College in Portland for her college education. After earning her degree, she worked as a Medical Laboratory Technician in Portland and Seattle, later concluding her career at Kent Medical Center in Kent, WA.
Denise married David Palmer (deceased) and lived in Federal Way, Washington. They are the parents of Jonathan Palmer of Seattle, Washington.
She adored all her dogs, drank her endless cup of coffee all day long, loved her family and knew all the history, and even stayed updated on the sports happenings for any geeky conversations needed.
