Kirkland, Washington - January 20th, 2022, Dennis Peter Schor died in his sleep after a long battle with Cancer. He died in his dream home in Kirkland, Washington, with his wife, Sharon Fields Schor, by his side. Born in Chicago, Illinois. Married his 1st wife, Judy. Two children, Peter and Heidi. He has 2 grandchildren, Sophia and Lily, and 2 step-grandchildren, Brooklynn and Aubrey. A sister, Laurie, and a half sister, Adell, who died in 2018. Brooklynn's mother, Nikole Foster Moore, was also considered one of his daughters. Moved to Seattle to be close to his grandkids in 1998. Denny was a business owner, inventor, hunter, fisherman, pilot, Captain, bodybuilder and chef. He loved history and anthropology. Denny loved watching sunsets from the home he shared with his wife, Sharon, in Kirkland. Those who knew him understood his love of cooking. Known for his Christmas Ham, Jambalaya, and his special BBQ ribs. Denny had a great sense of humor and loved to tell "stories". He loved boating in the San Juan Islands on his 50' boat, Shadowfax, with his wife, Sharon and their friends, crabbing and whale watching. He will be dearly missed.
