Kirkland, WA - Edgar Finley Monroe was born in Pendleton, Oregon, and grew up in Wenatchee, Washington. After graduating from Seattle University, he dedicated his career to teaching and counseling in the Bellevue School District.
On June 6, 1953, he married Joanne Johnston, and together they built a loving home in Kirkland, raising five children. A devout Catholic, Edgar's faith was central to his life. He was also a passionate skier for over 70 years, finding joy in both the sport and in coaching and instructing others.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.
