Edward J. Bala Obituary

WA - Edward J. Bala passed at home, surrounded by family. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. After his service, he was hired into The Boeing Company and retired after 43 years.

In 1967, Edward married Earline, whom he met at Boeing. They shared 58 wonderful years together.

Edward is survived by his wife; children Roy, Ray, and Chad (Stephanie) Bala; grandchildren Erik (Natasha), Ellen (Caleb), Riley, Reese, Reid, Derynn, Cade, Olin; and 3 great-grandchildren; sister Francis Little; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Dorothy Bala and brothers John and Patrick Bala. Edward had a very large extended family and was Papa to many.

The family will gather at a later date to celebrate Edward's life at St. Stephen, with burial at Tahoma National Cemetery. Announcement will be provided at a later date.
