WA - Edward "Ed" Horan Bowman passed away on June 14, 2025, in Tacoma, Washington, surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Ed was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee to Fred and Marie Bowman (née Carpenter). Ed primarily grew up in Richland, Washington, where he formed a lifelong circle of close friends. Ed, a graduate of Richland High School's Class of 1969, started driving for Seattle Metro Transit with plans to stay for just one year. That year eventually became a 31-year career. He cherished time with his family and lifelong friends. He was always one to make time for others and happily lend a hand. Ed is survived by his wife, Gwelda Bowman; his son, Spencer Bowman; his daughter, Ella Hathaway; and his siblings, Peter Bowman, Beth Bowman, James Bowman, and Regina Bowman. He is also survived by his niece, Heather Bowman Johnston, and his nephews, Tom Kneeland, and Jake Bowman. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
