Gig Harbor, Washington - Elizabeth Frances Tarabochia

Beth Tarabochia, beloved wife and mother, passed away surrounded by her family on June, 12th, 2021 in Gig Harbor, WA. She was born on May 29th, 1960, her parents Harold & Anne Pear, preceded her in death.

Born and raised in Portland, OR, she attended St. Mary's Cathedral School and St. Mary's Academy High School. She made the Seattle area her home after graduating from Seattle University. Beth met and married her husband, Matthew and their son, Joseph was born soon thereafter.

Beth was very involved in music and singing. First in piano lessons, then in vocal training from accomplished teachers. Since college, Beth has been a cantor at St. James Cathedral, Holy Rosary in West Seattle, Holy Cross in Tacoma and finally at St. Nicholas in Gig Harbor.

After working in the medical field for many years, which included much travel, she ultimately decided to be a stay at home mom for her son. She spent many hours volunteering at Joseph's school and her church.

Beth is survived by her loving husband, Matthew; son, Joseph; sister, Barbara; father in law, Matt; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Gig Harbor on June 25th, 2021 at 10am. Interment immediately following Mass at Haven of Rest Cemetery in Gig Harbor.
