Ellen Esther Keith, 78, passed away Sunday, December 1st, 2024. Ellen was born on December 26th,1945, to James and Elizabeth Keith. Ellen grew up in Bremerton, Washington, and spent her adult life in Seattle. Ellen is survived by her 4 adult children, Katherine Stohr-Chaffer, Richard Stohr, James Stohr, and Elizabeth Stohr; as well as her 9 grandchildren, all of whom she dearly loved. Ellen is also survived by her former spouse, Richard Charles Stohr. Ellen was a retired Elementary School teacher with Seattle Public Schools - a career she was deeply devoted to as she was passionate about teaching children. Ellen's maternal side of her family came from Montana and her Wild West roots were innate in her. She fiercely loved her independence even as she transitioned to requiring more care and support. There will be a service on February 14th, at 1:00 PM, at Blessed Sacrament in Seattle, Washington. Celebration of Life to follow.
