Federick Lopez Thornton (Chili Most) Obituary

Yelm, Washington - Federick Lopez Thornton, AKA Chili Most, was a loving partner, and devoted son, brother and father. He was a genuine friend and trusted confidante. Chili was a gifted athlete having started out with baseball, basketball, and football and achieving success there, later taking up golf, then tennis and cycling to name a few. He always had a basketball with him and wouldn't pass up a chance to ball when the opportunity presented itself. He played golf on each of his birthdays and enjoyed a Father's Day outing with friends for many years which was a source of pride for him throughout.

Chili was fiercely independent and an accomplished businessman, a true hustler. An entrepreneur at heart, he founded and operated Chils Mobile Detail for the last 12 years of his life. This business represented the best of Chili. Having overcome challenges in his life early, with his business, Chili was able to transform himself and find the peace, happiness and loving connections he so desired in this life. Though the ending was too soon, Chili achieved his place in this world and did so on his terms and to the full extent of his abilities, living by one of his many motto: "if you knew better, you'd do better."

Chil's accomplishments in business were possible because of his own very hard work and dedication to his customers, commitment to excellence and passion for success. He thoroughly enjoyed driving all over in his work van with his name emblazoned on the side meeting customers and talking about business and life. He would field calls along the way, making sure everyone knew he cared and was there to meet their needs.

Chili was a beloved partner and loyal family man, always there to pick you up when you fell, standing by your side as your protector, confident and ready to take the challenge required of him. He lived life to the fullest, loyal and strong, we are blessed to know and love him. May you rest in peace Chili Most #24, you were valiant to the end.
