WA - Frances was born October 28, 1932 to Peter and Antoinette Donofrio. After graduating from Ballard High School in 1950, Frances worked for a telephone company and later Seattle City Light. In 1959, she married Paul Duffy who passed away in 1990. Writing short stories and doing crossword puzzles were a few of her hobbies. Frances also enjoyed needlework and donated many afghans she created to nursing homes. To her family, Frances was an unending source of love and strength, and her loss is beyond measure.
Frances is survived by her son James Duffy; grandson Nicholas Duffy; daughter Maureen Duffy and many cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 17, 2025 at St. Alphonsus Church, 5816 15th Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carmelite Monastery of Seattle or St. Alphonsus Parish.
