WA. - Frank Anthony Buck Jr. passed peacefully July 13, 2025. He had just celebrated his 90th birthday on July 4th.

Frank was born in Seattle, Washington in 1935 to Frank and Audrey Buck. He was one of five children.

Frank attended St. Mary's grade school in Seattle and Franklin High school in Seattle, where he was a standout basketball player. He grew up in South Seattle and would meet his future wife there.

In 1956 Frank married Nancy Pride, and they shared 68 years together. They raised a daughter and four sons in the Rainier Beach and Skyway areas in the south end and were active in the early days of St. Paul church where their kids attended grade school, and they started many lifelong friendships. Frank also coached baseball and basketball for St. Paul, in the CYO league.

Frank worked at the Boeing Company for 40 years and was a Plant Services Supervisor in Auburn when he retired. He enjoyed his job, working third shift and many of his dedicated crew became lifelong friends.

Frank's birthday was always a special event because it was the holiday, and was often celebrated with Frank's brothers and sister, nieces and nephews and extended family.

There were also many birthday, Halloween, Christmas and New Years Eve parties and events that Frank and Nancy celebrated with their steadfast friends the Moffats, Schmidts, Cappettos, Adams and Carolans over the decades.

Frank and Nancy made dozens of trips to Hawaii over the years and they also loved visiting Seaside and Cannon Beach, Oregon.

He is survived by his brother Jim; daughter Kathy (Greg), and sons Keith (Gwen), Frank (Debra), Timothy and Steven (Kelly); grandchildren Matt (Joana), Tommy (Jessica), Nicole Buck and Keoni Giauque and great-grandchildren Magnolia and Knox Buck.
