Gladys Eleanor Gallup Koch Obituary

Gladys Eleanor Gallup Koch, born September 13, 1938, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 6, 2025. Gladys was predeceased by her parents and three siblings. She is survived by her husband, Robert Koch; daughter, Christine Jensen (John Jensen), son, Scott Koch (Leslie Dlein Koch); and her four grandchildren, Mica Finn, Sven, and Jasper.


Gladys was born and raised in Ballard. After graduating Ballard High School, she attended Edmonds Community College and worked for the City of Seattle. Gladys married in 1964 and travelled up and down the West Coast with Bob until settling in Bellevue, Washington, where she raised Christine and Scott.


Gladys studied the arts at Bellevue Community College, was a long-time member of both the Bellevue Arts Museum and Guild as well as the Colonial Dames.


Gladys loved to travel, the arts, flowers, and her Ballard girlfriends! She will truly be missed by her family and friends.
