Gregory Joseph Kramer (Greg) Obituary

Lynnwood, WA - Gregory Joseph Kramer (Greg), age 82, died on October 11, 2025 in Lynnwood, WA. He passed away peacefully with his three daughters by his side.

He was born June 14th 1943, in Everett, Washington. A son of the late Joseph B. Kramer and Elizabeth R. Kramer.

Greg was a graduate of Queen Anne High School (1961), Western Washington University, and Central Washington University.

His childhood was spent in Linden, WA. A backdrop of lakes and rivers, he grew to love fishing, hunting and all things great outdoors. Greg's adolescent years were in Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood. A reluctant city-boy, he found new pursuits in baseball, go-karts, and hydroplanes. In adulthood, Greg became a talented woodworker and craftsman. He resided in Lynnwood, and for two decades ran a residential construction business. The final years of Greg's career were at Scriber Lake High School. First as a teacher and later the school's principal. Greg's golden years were lived out along Icicle Creek in Leavenworth, WA. He volunteered for the town's Meals on Wheels program. He enjoyed the company of his Springer Spaniels, and made plenty of time for hunting and fishing.

Of all the wonderful talents and qualities that Greg embodied, it was his compassion, empathy, and generous spirit that touched people the most. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by his brother Ross Kramer; and his partner of 34 years, June Young.

Greg is survived by his loving daughters: Colleen Kramer, Megan Linklater (Jason Linklater), and Katie Kramer (Steve Springer). Granddaughters: Cora Linklater, Baile Linklater, Ellie Linklater, and Oonagh Springer. June's sons: Jeff Curtis (Erin Curtis) and James Island; June's grandchildren Olivia Curtis and Collin Curtis. Niece and Nephew : Kerry Doring and Tom Kramer. Last but not least, his beloved dog, Molly.

He leaves behind special friends: Bob Johnson and Denny Rudeck, as well as his close cousins: Maureen Bangs, and Ken Kramer.
