Lake Forest Park, WA - Harold Shea Jr. of Lake Forest Park, WA, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025 (88), surrounded by his family. Born May 25, 1937, in Worcester, MA, Harold was the son of Harold Shea Sr. & Germaine Gingras. From a young age, he was captivated by airplanes—an early passion that inspired him to pursue a degree in Engineering. At just 20 years old, he moved to Seattle to begin a lifelong career at Boeing. Among his many professional accomplishments, Harold supported NASA's early missions to the moon and was part of the original team that developed the Boeing 777. He retired as Senior Manager of the Operations Material Division, leaving behind a legacy of innovation and leadership. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Daniel; his siblings Barbara, Frank, and James; father and mother-in-law, Matthew & Margaret Moskal, brother and sister-in-laws Bob, Cese, Eddie. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 66 years, Ethel Rose Moskal Shea; his children Erin (Carlos) Angulo Shea, daughter-in-law Teresa, Michael (Sandy), Patrick (Amy), Timothy (Janet), Harold (Michelle); 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and many nephews & nieces. He is also survived by his siblings Peggy (George) and Gerry (Rita); and in-laws Anne, Harry and Phyllis. A devoted member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Harold volunteered in numerous roles over nearly 60 years, including coaching his children's sports teams. His greatest pride in life was his family. Harold and Ethel were dedicated supporters of many causes dear to them, including St. John's High School (MA), Holy Names Academy (Seattle), St. Catherine of Siena Church, and other charitable organizations.
