Henry Jacob Benzinger Obituary

WA - Henry passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. Born in Bremerton, he graduated from Olympic High School in 1988 and worked proudly at the Bremerton Naval Shipyard and Naval Base Bangor—always wearing his work badge with honor.


He was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Our Lady Star of the Sea. He competed joyfully in Special Olympics— basketball, baseball, track and field, soccer, bowling, swimming, and golf.

Henry loved music, playing piano, guitar, and harmonica. He was known for his word search mastery, warm hugs, and radiant smile.


Preceded in death by his father, Donald. Survived by his mother Annie; siblings Cathy (Pat), Theresa (Mike), Sean, Colleen (Lindy), and Christine (David); and many beloved relatives.

Rosary at 10:00 a.m. and Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 8, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Seattle. Burial Saturday, August 9, at noon, Forest Lawn Cemetery, Bremerton.
