Arlington, Washington - James (Jim) Mackey born July 13, 1927 passed away on September 3, 2020 at Olympic Place Assisted Living in Arlington, WA deeply regretted by his wife of 68 years, Sue, his children and grandchildren:

*Lorna, Nick & Kelly Ferrera of Issaquah, WA

*Alan, Davney, Makala & Avery Mackey of Peoria, AZ

*John, Shellee, Morgan, Macy, Natalie & Jack Mackey of Arlington, WA

Jim was a professional soccer player in Belfast, N. Ireland in the 1940s and 1950s. He was an avid golfer and lawn bowler plus loved working in his garden. Jim and Sue attended the same public school. They married in 1952 and their daughter, Lorna, was born in 1956 in N. Ireland. They immigrated to Canada and USA. Their son, Alan, was born in San Diego, CA in 1960 and their son, John, was born in Georgetown, Canada in 1964. In 1967, they immigrated to Seattle, WA where Jim worked as a design engineer at The Boeing Company. In 1993, Jim retired from The Boeing Company and they spent 24 winters in Sun City, AZ where they golfed and lawn bowled - wonderful years! In 2020, they sold their home in Arlington and moved into assisted living.
