WA - James "Jim" Arthur Noyes, age 91, passed away at home in Snohomish, WA on July 2, 2025. Born in 1933, his life began in Nebraska then moved to Seattle in 1940. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1951, where he began his love for playing music. He played with various folk bands in the Seattle area.
Jim was a successful insurance agent with State Farm for 43 years, often setting sales records during his career. Caring deeply about people, he considered nearly everyone he met a friend. He was always active, loving snow skiing and fishing next to playing music.
Jim is survived by Margaret Ann Noyes, his wife of 53 years; Children: Deborah Diemer, Dalene Cothran, Michelle Olafsson, Suzanne Peterson, Donald Noyes, Paula Porter, Joseph Armand, Daniel Noyes, and Devon Noyes; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, followed by Graveside Service.
