James Clay Wilkie, Jr. Obituary

James Clay Wilkie, Jr. was born in Dallas, Texas on October 23, 1948 to James C Wilkie, Sr, and Catherine Anne Pettinger. He died on October 8, 2025.

Jim lived in Seattle from the age of ten. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a thoughtful, generous man with a dry sense of humor. He loved his family, a lively party, cars, boats, and drawing. His life was challenging but he persevered.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Sheila Wilkie, Seattle; his brothers, Rev. John Wilkie, Seattle, and Thomas Wilkie (Valerie), Port Dover, Ontario; niece, Colleen Wilkie (Paul Dormann) and their children, London and Lorne, Seattle. Also survived by many cousins.

Heartfelt thank you to Jim's friend, Bill Uznay, for his friendship and support, and to GT, his family and staff, for their loving care of Jim over the past 11 years. We will miss you, Jim. Rest in peace.
