WA - Jenny Sue Neaville Haines, who will be fondly remembered for her cheerful smile, was born October 29, 1940, in Seattle to Arthur Keble and Elizabeth Collier Neaville. She was the last of four siblings. From the start, Jenny loved every person and animal she encountered.
Jenny was happiest when she was with her family, especially when hosting parties at poolside. She had two children, Paul and Vivian, with her first husband, Fredrick Peterson. After their divorce, she married Robert Haines in 1971 and gained three step-daughters, Kim, Deanna, and Amby. The couple first lived in Bothell, then Edmonds.
Jenny's family is thankful to her for creating a cocoon of love that made them feel safe. Vivian is grateful to her Mom for being her biggest supporter and constant source of unconditional love. Jenny liked to stay in touch with her large, extended family. She attempted to recognize everyone's birthday and anniversary with cards each year. When writing became difficult, she became an enthusiastic texter.
Jenny worked at several retirement homes as a receptionist and medical records specialist. She was appreciated for her bright and welcoming personality.
Jenny was predeceased by her parents; brother Alan; and son Paul. She is survived by daughter Vivian; grandson Anthony; granddaughters Talitha, Jolene, and Natasha; sisters Pride and Lou; and step-daughters Kim, Deanna and Amby.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to a no-kill animal shelter or her grandson's non-profit, Flag to Remember Foundation.
A celebration of Jenny's life will be held on November 1, 2025.
Too dearly loved to be forgotten.
