Washington - Jody Lynn (Osborne) Ivy, 65 of Allyn Washington, passed away the morning of June 15th, 2021. She left this earth with her loving husband and daughter Lauren by her side. Jody was born September 10th 1955, to Jan and Alice Osborne (Anderson) and grew up in Yarrow Point Washington with her two sisters and brother. She went to Holy Names Academy and from there to The Burnley School of Art now known as the Seattle Art institute where she graduated in 1976. She worked at Boeing and then Microsoft as a Graphic Designer. Jody had a natural talent in the Arts. This undeniable gift overflowed into her everyday life. She became a detailed stained-glass artist, a fine arts painter, and an enthusiastic gardener. She had a love of birds especially the great snowy owl and she continuously cared and supported her local wildlife. Her life was rich with many friends and was married to her loving husband for 42 amazing years. They shared many beautiful moments in their life together and had two wonderful daughters. Jody is survived by her husband Steven Ivy and daughters Christine Horton (Ivy) and Lauren Ivy. Her grandchildren Shay Moshe, Logan Horton and Miles Horton and siblings Jeff Osborne, Jenny Osborne, and Jill (Osborne) McGuinness.

The universe is quieter now, you sung a song a whistling in the trees, soaring through overgrown daisies... I'll look for you. I've come undone and shall sit in high grass hoping to hear your song until the snow falls and the roses sleep. Forever a sparrow in my heart you will be. C.H.

We will be celebrating her life with a memorial Sunday September 19th 1-4pm at Allyn Waterfront Park 18560 E State Route 3 Allyn WA, 98524.
