WA - John H Jessup Jr. affectionately known as "JJ" passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025. Born in Seattle, graduated from Roosevelt High School and University of Washington. He lived most of his life in Yakima enjoying the sunshine. He lived a vibrant life characterized by his energy and enthusiasm for his alma mater (UW). Preceded in death by his son Michael. Survived by daughters Judy (Mike) and Terri (Brian), 8 grand children, 5 great grandchildren. JJ's life will be celebrated by spreading his ashes amongst Crescent Bar, Cabo San Lucas & White Pass. JJ kept his sense of humor throughout his 8 year battle with Alzheimers. His memory lives on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
