Washington - J. Walter Gearhart passed quietly at the age of 85 on Friday, November 26, 2021 in East Wenatchee, Washington.
Walt was a graduate of the University of Washington and a lifelong Husky fan ever after. In 1991 he co-founded Quorum Review, a medical research ethics review service that was based in downtown Seattle.

Walt is survived by his wife Marilyn, his sister Gertrude Waller, his children Cami and Jim, and six grandchildren.
