Kimberly Blunt Larsen passed away peacefully at home on June 29, 2025.
Born in Mountain Home, Idaho to Kim and Sharon Blunt, Kim grew up in Everett, and graduated from Cascade High School. She went on to study early childhood education at the University of Washington, where she also met the love of her life, Larry.
Kim devoted over 40 years to teaching, a career she cherished deeply. She had a gift for working with children and took great pride in helping them grow.
Outside the classroom, Kim embraced life fully: traveling the world with family and friends, cultivating her beautiful garden, and creating a warm and loving home. But her greatest joy of all was being a grandmother. Kim adored her nine grandchildren and cherished every moment she spent with them.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; her three sons and their wives— Chris Larsen and Sharon Orcutt, Daniel and Cory Larsen, Mitchell and Rachel Larsen; her daughter and son-in-law, Stacie Larsen and Matt DeMilner; and her nine grandchildren, who brought light and laughter to her days.
A celebration of Kim's life will be held at a later date.
