Washington - Kimberly Ann (Mouty) Mikolajewski, loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away while visiting family in Montgomery, Ohio on April 27th. Kim was born March 25, 1962 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Richard Mouty (deceased) and Roberta (Wavrunek) Mouty. She was the middle of five children, between her two older sisters, Jackie and Claudia, a younger brother, Rick, and her youngest sister, Kris. Kim was raised in Cincinnati where she attended St. Bartholomew Parish School, Mt. Healthy High School, and the University of Cincinnati. As a young adult, she spent time in Cincinnati and Los Angeles before settling in the Seattle area in 1994.

Kim's greatest joy in life were her two daughters, Kelsey and Kristin. A dedicated and loyal mother, she was immensely proud of them and their many accomplishments. Kim loved doing anything that meant spending quality time with family and friends - traveling, cooking, and trying new restaurants with her daughters, rounds of golf and card games with friends, and trips to the Midwest to visit her family. She will be most remembered for her infectious laugh and ability to make everyone around her feel cared for and welcomed. Her incredible creativity and deep generosity will live on - she made and shared many scrapbooks, handmade cards, costumes and family cookbooks and she always gave the most thoughtful gifts. Kim was also an avid sports fan and loved cheering on the Seahawks, but maintained a soft spot for her hometown Cincinnati Bengals. In addition to her daughters, mother and siblings, Kim is survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and a large extended family who all miss her terribly.

Her funeral will take place in Cincinnati on Tuesday, May 10th and a Celebration of Life will be held at the family home in Sammamish, WA on Sunday, June 12th at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations to Habitat for Humanity in Kim's honor.
