LeeAnn Farrell passed away peacefully at home on January 19. She was born LeeAnn Buchanan on November 29, 1934 in Seattle to Velma and William Buchanan and spent her childhood years in White Center. She graduated from Highland Park Elementary and West Seattle High School and gained many life-long friends from her time at those schools. She married John McKenna and had four children: Lynn, John, Kim, and Greg. LeeAnn and John McKenna were later divorced but remained friends throughout their lives.
She married the love of her life, John Farrell, in 1972 and wholeheartedly adopted his family into hers, gaining three stepchildren: Dale, Darleene, and Connie. After John Farrell's death in 2005, she became the devoted matriarch of a large joint family. They had been married for 33 years. The impact she made on countless lives is immeasurable. We remember her boundless love, her infectious laughter, and her limitless generosity.
The Rosary will be prayed in her honor on February 15th at 12:00 followed by the Funeral Mass at 12:30pm at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Federal Way. 30525 8th Ave S, Federal Way, WA 98003.
A Reception will follow at the Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club. 3583 SW 320th St, Federal Way, WA 98023.
