Lenora Lois Hutton of Pacific, WA. passed away on August 8, 2023, 5 weeks shy of her 98th birthday at the Village Green Retirement Community in Federal Way.
Born in Algona in 1925, she lived on a farm in Algona with her parents and grandparents, who immigrated to the states from Cork County, Ireland. In 1944 she graduated from Auburn High School, and a week later married the love of her life, Laurence Hutton.
They were married 65 years before his death in 2009. Together they raised two daughters on their two acre farm in Pacific.
She was preceded in death by her father Ralph Howden, her stepfather Buck O'Day, mother Mary O'Day, her two brothers Ralph Clyde O'Day (Skeezix), James O'Day (Cork), and her husband, Laurence Hutton.
Survivors include daughters Lynda Hutton Guerra (Jose) and Connie Hutton Baerny (Mick). Also five grandchildren: Lea Guerra Reule (Glen), Mario Guerra (Beth), Anna Baerny Mikelsen Mills (David), Erin Baerny Walter (Kenny), and Megan Baerny Gougoutas (Alex). Six great-grandchildren: Sasha Reule, Maya Reule, Anthony Guerra, Kody Mikelsen, Dashel Mills, and Theodore "Tug" Gougoutas.
Services will be held on August 26 at 11am at Yahn and Son in Auburn, WA.
