Seattle, WA - Linda Louise (Frisby) Fairweather was born on October 9, 1944, passed away on Mother's Day, May 12th, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 79 years old.
Linda was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was born and raised in Seattle where she attended Franklin High School "Go Quakers". She cherished her hometown and made many lifelong friends throughout her years. She was a regular at the Seattle Tennis Club, where she enjoyed spending time socializing with her dear friends and playing tennis. An avid sports fan, Linda rarely missed a game of her beloved Seahawks, Huskies, and Mariners. She shared her passion for sports with her family and friends, making every game day a special occasion to share time with loved ones. Her love for socializing was evident in the countless dinners she enjoyed with family and friends, creating wonderful memories.
Linda spent many years in real estate and was known for her keen eye for detail and her exceptional talent in interior design. Her passion for creating elegant and inviting spaces was evident in all of her homes, which was always a reflection of her exquisite taste and creativity.
Music was a significant part of Linda's life. She was an accomplished pianist, and her home was often filled with the beautiful sounds of her playing. She was unique in the fact she played by ear, never needed to read music to play a beautiful song. Her passion for music brought joy to many and was a source of comfort and inspiration.
Her family and friends remember her as a warm, caring, and vibrant individual who always had a smile on her face. Even in her latest battle, she treated everyone with grace, appreciation, and kindness. Her positive spirit and love for life were evident in everything she did, and she touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.
Linda was preceded in death by her dear parents, Stan and Ivadell Fairweather and most recently her beloved daughter, Megghan Marie Harruff who passed away in June of 2023. She is survived by her daughters and son in laws Gretchen (Dan) Barnett, Liz (Craig) Halpin and Dave Harruff; her grandchildren Stephanie (Mark) Riley and Blake Barnett; as well as her great grandchildren Shane, Claire, and William Riley.
