I have soooo many! Firstly, she was a mom to me when I had none...a most beautiful,loving mom. She changed my path in life when I was 18. Honesy without her love I don't think I'd be alive today. Secondly the most funny! My best friend was Marie growing up; when I telephoned, " Marie!? Marie who?!!!" She'd always say, " Mrs. Dion!, Marie your daughter!" I'd always say. I'm so blessed to have had the Dion family in my life and all their love,never did she let me think I was not loved and that was how she lived and taught by example. She will be missed dearly. Heartfelt prayers & condolences to the entire Dion family.
Peggy was a treasured friend and neighbor to us on Whidbey Island. Our many good times were over a shared meal, glass of wine and lots of stories about her wonderfully full life with Dick. From travel to gardening, and daily adventures, Peggy was such a positive person who always spread kindness and joy. She will live on with fond memories and her lovely influences in our lives.

I am so sorry to learn of Peggy’s passing and send my heartfelt condolences to all of you. I have the highest regard for and gratitude to the Dion family. Of all the families I met and worked with during many years in education, the Dion’s are among the most memorable. I send you love and warmth.

Plant a tree: How does it work

When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.

An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.

After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.

Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Tree Planting Timeline

Orders placed in:

January - May

Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.

June - December

Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
