WA - Marjie passed away peacefully in her daughter's arms on November 9, 2025, at her home in Kirkland, Washington. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Blume (fiancée, Frank Bergen), daughter/niece, Sidney Knapp Pepple (Randy); four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her sister Judy Clark Scrupps (Lorus); as well as, cousins, nieces, nephews and good friends too many to count. She is preceded in death by her son, Matthew Huddle and husband, William Huddle.
Marjie devoted her life to public school education and teaching until the very end. She was a trailblazer for her generation with a graduate degree, which she used to follow the advice of a favorite author, "It is when you give of yourself that you truly give." Gibran's The Prophet.
A lifelong Seattle sports fan, she excelled at tennis and golf, taking particular pleasure in besting her husband. A true Washingtonian, her homes spanned the mountain ranges over the decades.
Loved ones describe Marjie's ability to love so deeply in the face of profound human trials.
Rest in peace and Godspeed.
