Parents Wilfuerd G Berndt and Olive C Berndt (nee Fansler).
Graduated from Schurz High School in Chicago, IL. BS and MS degrees from University of Illinois, Urbana, IL.
Married Thomas W Dahlgren in Champaign, IL January 30, 1965.
Active member in Hill'nDale Garden Club, East Lake Washington District and Washington State Federation of Garden Clubs, Avant Designers Guild, Bellevue Botanical Garden Society (former Board Member), St. Andrews Lutheran Church.
A love of gardening, an avid reader and book club member along with a passion for genealogy research. A respected National Garden Club Master Flower Show Judge.
Smart, kind and generous, a beloved wife and mother who will be dearly missed. Survived by husband Thomas; son Robert, daughter-in law Sharon.
Memorial service 2:00 pm Saturday, November 1st at St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Bellevue, WA.
