MARY MISAO KOYANO Obituary
Washington - Mary Misao Koyano died peacefully on October 4, 2021, one day after her 110th birthday. She was born on October 3, 1911 and was a long-time Seattle resident. Mary worked alongside her husband in their Seattle restaurant, Maximum Cafe, and later worked in the Seattle University cafeteria where she retired in her 70's. She was an avid gardener and prolific poet, winning several awards for her poetry. She was passionate about her family and her favorite things to do were eat candy, watch sports and sing the US National Anthem.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Naohide; and children, Henry, Arthur, Chizuko and Joyce. She was survived by her son, Victor Koyano; grandchildren, Derrik, Tiffani, Leslie, Brandon, Shannon, Kirsten and Tyson; and great grandchildren, Payton, Isabella, Carly, George, Desmond, Sonoma, Anna, and Winter.
