WA - Michael (Mike) Meeker, 66, died peacefully at home on January 14th in Federal Way. Mike was born and raised in West Seattle, to parents Elisha (Bud) and Elizabeth (Marilyn) Meeker. He graduated from Chief Seattle High with the class of 1976. After graduation, he worked for SeaFab Metals until they closed. He then embarked on his safety career with Dale Chihuly Studios, which involved traveling all over the world for art installations and removals. Mike spent his last years of employment with Architectural Surfaces as the safety manager. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family, particularly boating on Lake Washington. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughter Kelli (Cesar), son Jonathan (Chrisy); granddaughters Emmy and Sloan; niece Destiny; and brother Mark (Virginia). His sister, Durinda, and parents, preceded him in death.
