Michael Ward Obituary

Federal Way, Washington - Mike was a happy and uplifting person. At JFK during his high school years he excelled at wrestling, pole vaulting and other track and field events. He got his Engineering degree from the University of Washington and spent his career working at Boeing. As a young boy Mike fell out of a tree and broke his arm at the time the family was going to a lake resort for vacation. All the other kids were having fun going down the water slide there except Mike. He begged his mom to let him go too so she went to the grocery store, bought a loaf of bread and slid the cast into the bag so he could go down the slide with all the other kids.

Mike has been a great friend and brother and person. He is survived by his wife. his siblings Steve, Cindy, Maureen and Mark and his nieces Manda & Adriana and nephew Sam.
