Issaquah, WA - Millie Ball passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the age of 95 in Issaquah, Washington.
Hailing from Oakland, California, Millie graduated from McClymonds High School and attended San Francisco State College. She married Carlton C. Cowan, a proud member of the Armed Forces, and together they raised two children, Stephanie and Steven. Millie began her professional life at Boeing before transitioning to a successful banking career, ultimately becoming a Vice President at U.S. Bank.
A devout and spirited woman, Millie firmly believed in God, determination, and education. She was known for her sense of humor, directness, and deep love for others. Her commitment to faith and service was evident in her active role at University Presbyterian Church in Seattle, where she served as an elder and contributed to numerous church activities.
Millie is survived by her daughter Stephanie Olivero and son-in-law Jeffrey, son Steven C. Cowan and daughter-in-law Deirdre Weber-Cowan; and her beloved grandchildren. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched.
A private service was held at University Presbyterian Church. Donations in her memory can be made to Seattle Children's Hospital at (give.seattlechildrens.org).
