Nancy Shipp Obituary

Nancy Shipp passed away from complications due to dementia and went home to the Lord on August 4, 2024. Born in Seattle to Bruce and Margaret Tomlinson on September 19, 1942, Nancy lived a full and faithful life of service to family, neighbors, and community. Raised in California, Nancy graduated from St. Paul High School in San Francisco in 1960. Shortly thereafter, she married her best friend and the love of her life, Paul Shipp.

While raising a family in Pacifica, CA, Nancy studied nursing and education at the College of San Mateo. In 1974, the family relocated to Bainbridge Island, WA. Nancy spent the next 40 years teaching and educating children from preschool to high school on Bainbridge. Her investment in the families of Bainbridge is well remembered.

Nancy is survived by 5 children, 5 daughter-in-laws, 10 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Paul, son Cliff, and daughter-in-law Morgain.

We know that Nancy and Paul are now tending to their heavenly garden.
