WA - Norma Jean Courtmanch (née Olson) passed away peacefully, with her husband and children by her side, on Saturday, December 20, 2025. She was 75.

Norma was born in Renton, WA, to Norman and Alice Olson. She graduated Renton High School in 1969 and later trained to become a nurse at Everett Community College. She met and married Chuck Leslie and had a daughter, Melissa. In 1982 Norma got remarried to fellow Renton High alum, Bruce Courtmanch. They had two children, Randi and Marc, and remained married for 43 years until her death.

Norma had a long career in nursing working with the elderly. She had an infectious smile and laugh and made friends wherever she went. She enjoyed cheering for the Seattle Mariners and was an avid scrapbooker.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, and brothers. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Courtmanch; her daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Graham Tilley, and Randi and Matt Evans; her son and daughter-in-law, Marc and Anna Courtmanch; and 7 grandchildren.
