Seattle, Washington - At age 93 Ouita passed away peacefully on October 15, 2020.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Ouita was born in Arkansas and raised in Glendora, CA. Soon after marrying her husband, Rodney, they moved to Seattle, WA. where she dedicated the rest of her life to raising her family. Her children and grandchildren were such a joy to her. Ouita and Rodney were married for 73 years, 65 of which were spent in their beloved home in Seattle.
She is survived by her husband Rodney, daughter Denise (Ed), and son Cecil. Grandchildren Breann (Travis), Emily (James) and Andrew. Great grandchildren Ellie and Julian. Sister-in-law Roberta Merritt and some nieces and nephews. Her loving little dog Bitsey, was a constant companion.
Ouita will be dearly missed by her family, friends and the very caring neighbors that touched her life.
