Priscilla Arlene Strothers Obituary

Priscilla Arlene Strothers, born on December 6th, 1928 to Austin Clyde and Fern Louise Proctor, in Rochester, WA. She peacefully concluded her journey on this earth on August 10th, 2024, in Seattle, WA.


Priscilla led a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished moments. She was a devoted wife to Wilbert Strothers for 78 years and a loving mother to their children: Floyd Dale Strothers (Pam), Carol Strothers McGraw (William - deceased 2016), Kathleen Brenda Hailey (Ronald), and Noel Jay Strothers (Denise). Her legacy continues through her seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, whom she loved and cherished dearly.


She was employed over 35 years at Pacific Northwest Bell. Priscilla's life was marked by her warm spirit, humor, and unwavering loyalty. She was a creative and resourceful woman, known for her stunning beauty and sharp intellect. Her hobbies included, water skiing, fishing, knitting, sewing, gardening, and playing the piano/organ. She spent many hours playing word games which kept her mind sharp. A few of Priscilla's favorite fishing spots were Sekiu, on the Washington Peninsula, Ocean Shores, and Long Lake kin Lacey, WA. She was an avid fan of the Seattle Mariners, Seattle Seahawks, and Seattle Super Sonics.


She and Wilbert spent many years traveling in their motor home.

She had a special spot in her heart for animals and was an avid supporter of ASPCA and the Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC).


Priscilla is preceded in death by her parents and her three brothers; Norman Edward Proctor, Russel Floyd Proctor, and Bertram Don Proctor. She leaves to cherish memories her loving and devoted husband; her children; grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
