WA - Our beloved father Ralph Paul Olsson passed away peacefully at home on October 4, 2025 at the age of 90. He is survived by his daughter Heather and son Eric.

Ralph was born in Portland, Oregon on September 3, 1935. His childhood in Seahurst, WA with brothers Robert and Terry was rich with fond memories. He first met Bonnie Jean Bilyeu while attending the University of Washington. He completed his undergraduate degree after serving in the US Army at Sandia Base, NM. Their love grew and continued throughout a long and happy marriage, raising their family until Bonnie passed in 1990.

Ralph met Janet McReady while working through their mutual losses. They enjoyed a loving partnership for over 30 years until she passed in 2023.

Ralph always found ways to be giving with his gifts. His ability to refresh or create well-made items was widely appreciated. He enriched our lives through his paintings and other creative touches. He was the Little Engine That Could, demonstrating how to make things better. The Olde Fashioned Handyman has fixed his last repair and laid his tools down to rest.

Our family inurnment will occur January 2026 in Olympia, WA.
